Elementary Art (K-4th)

Our Art class for K-4th grade students offers a vibrant introduction to the world of art, engaging young learners in various forms such as drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture. Each session starts with an introduction to the art form or artist being studied, followed by interactive activities that allow students to practice techniques and express their creativity through their own art pieces.

  • Diverse Art Forms:
    Students will explore different artistic expressions including drawing, painting, collage making, and sculpture.
  • Engaging Introductions:
    Each class begins with an educational segment about a specific art form or artist, setting the stage for the day’s activities.
  • Hands-On Creativity:
    Students engage in hands-on activities designed to foster their artistic skills and encourage unique self-expression.

The goal of this course is to cultivate a love for art in a fun and engaging environment, helping students to unleash their creativity and develop their artistic abilities at an early age.

Since West Salem has NEVER CHARGED for the use of their facility (i.e. no rent, utilities, water, internet, or paper product fees; ONLY a nominal cleaning fee), there will be no facility or maintenance fees required. In order to respect your time and resources, we plan to offer regular lunches for a small charge with all proceeds going to West Salem Baptist Church as our love offering to them for such a generous gift.
