In the event of inclement weather, the following policy will be implemented for our one-day-per-week homeschool academy:

- Decisions about cancellations will always prioritize the safety of everyone involved.
- Local Weather Authority:
- We will closely monitor forecasts and alerts from trusted local weather authorities to assess risks and road conditions.
- Timely Communication:
- Announcements will be made as early as possible to give families time to plan.
- We will use multiple channels to ensure everyone receives timely updates.
- Communication Channels:
- Email: Notices will be sent to the email address provided at registration from Rebekah@RoanokeSalemHomeschool.com.
- Website: A prominent cancellation notice will appear on our homepage.
- Social Media: Updates will be posted on our Facebook page.
- Phone/Text: In urgent situations, we may send a text or make a phone call. Add (540) 541-8226 to your contacts.
