Office Apps (7th-12th)

This course provides students with essential skills in modern office productivity software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database management. Students will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Course Overview:

  • Productivity Software:
    Students will learn how to efficiently use tools like Microsoft Word and Google Docs for word processing, and create professional documents for academic and business settings.
  • Spreadsheets and Data Analysis:
    Introduction to Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data through formulas, charts, and functions.
  • Presentations:
    Develop engaging and impactful presentations using PowerPoint and Google Slides, focusing on design, clarity, and delivery.
  • Database Management:
    Explore the fundamentals of Microsoft Access and data organization, learning how to store and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Digital Communication:
    Practice writing professional emails, managing cloud storage, sharing documents, and collaborating through digital platforms.
