This Physical Science course introduces students to four key areas of science—mathematics, physics, chemistry, and astronomy—each examined through a biblical worldview. Students will explore how scientific discoveries have shaped our lives and how God has revealed truth through creation. Each discipline is presented in depth, laying a strong foundation for future scientific studies.
Course Overview:
- Mathematics in the Natural World
Students explore mathematical principles as the language of creation and order, applying them to real-world scientific scenarios.
- Physics and Forces
Investigating energy, motion, light, and sound, students will gain an appreciation for the laws God set in place to govern the universe.
- Chemistry Fundamentals
Through engaging lessons and hands-on experiments, students will learn about elements, reactions, and the structure of matter.
- Introduction to Astronomy
Students will study the stars, planets, and celestial movements, reflecting on the vastness of God’s creation.
- Hands-On Labs
Each unit includes experiments and activities that reinforce core concepts and build scientific thinking skills.
Curriculum
Students will complete written work, experiments, and readings from the curriculum throughout the semester. This course is ideal for middle and early high school students looking to build a strong foundation in the physical sciences.
