Elementary Social Studies - Geography & Cultures (2nd–6th)

Explore the world from your neighborhood to the farthest corners of the globe! In this elementary Social Studies course, students will use My Story and the WORLD around ME 1 to build foundational knowledge in geography, history, economics, sociology, and government while learning to view the world through a biblical perspective. Through four adventure-based quests, students will discover how families, communities, cities, states, countries, and cultures are connected while developing a greater understanding of God's world and the people who live in it.

Students will complete assigned readings and worksheets at home so classroom time can focus on discussion, map activities, projects, presentations, review games, and other interactive learning experiences. Throughout the year, students will also explore transportation, regions of the world, and the different elements that help communities and societies function.
