Pre-Algebra (7th-10th)

The Pre-Algebra class for grades 7-8 uses the Math-U-See curriculum to introduce students to essential concepts in mathematics. Students will master arithmetic operations with integers, rational numbers, and algebraic expressions, laying a solid foundation for future math studies. The course will also cover linear equations, inequalities, and functions.

  • Comprehensive Curriculum:
    Students will learn and practice key pre-algebra concepts through Math-U-See's structured curriculum.
  • Interactive Learning:
    The course includes theoretical explanations, problem-solving exercises, and interactive activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Preparation for Advanced Math:
    Emphasis on linear equations, inequalities, and functions provides students with a strong mathematical foundation for further studies.

Since West Salem has NEVER CHARGED for the use of their facility (i.e. no rent, utilities, water, internet, or paper product fees; ONLY a nominal cleaning fee), there will be no facility or maintenance fees required. In order to respect your time and resources, we plan to offer regular lunches for a small charge with all proceeds going to West Salem Baptist Church as our love offering to them for such a generous gift.
